About Me

Crissy Terawaki Kawamoto is, by profession, a cancer research study coordinator who has been published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and the American Journal of Public Health. She has also been spotted in episodes of “LOST” and “Hawaii Five-0”; on the cover of TIME Magazine; and on Capitol Hill, advocating for increased federal funding for cancer research, prevention, screening, and treatment. In her spare time, she spends too much money on Starbucks and Apple products and destroys much of her credibility by being a longtime, shameless fan of the Chicago Cubs* . . . but kind of makes up for it by also being a fan of the (2010, 2013, and 2015 Stanley Cup Champion) Chicago Blackhawks.

* UPDATE: On November 2, 2016, the Cubs won the World Series for the first time since 1908! As of October 2018, they are still the most recent National League team to have won a World Series. So . . . credibility intact???
