Baseball: Cubs vs. Reds

Whyyyyy does the worst team in the NL Central have the Cubs’ number?! It was a beautiful day for a ball game . . . too bad the Cubs were too tired to win it. I kept myself entertained by yelling at the players and taking pictures. Here are a few of the photos.

Here we are before the game, before it all went south.
Cubs first baseman — and cancer survivor — Anthony Rizzo, a.k.a. my baseball boyfriend.
Albert Almora, Jr., on his bobblehead day. Why so serious? Oh, because Quintana put the Cubs behind from the very first pitch. Almora drove in the Cubs’ only run, on a sac fly.
Kris Bryant was not in the starting lineup, but the Cubs needed all the offensive help they could get. Alas, it was too little, too late.
