It takes about a half-hour via CTA (bus and/or train) to get to Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits in Lincoln Square, but that hour of transit (round trip) is totally worth it.
The veggie pot pie (with the dreamy raita) is now on their regular menu — and yes, it is every bit as good as it looks.
We also had a slice of fresh peach pie, which was made with their one of their last deliveries for the season of peaches from Mick Klug Farm. Yum.
No matter what time of year you visit, always try a slice of a seasonal pie. Their standbys are good, but you can’t beat fresh fruit in season.
